A number of elderly men and women this week stormed the Namibian embassy in London to demand for the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II. While blasting loud speakers, they referred to Namibia as a murderous country that is conspiring to kill their Kabaka.
These could be seen adorning traditional wear and prostrating themselves in the streets as they demanded for the Kabaka to be produced. They said that their Kabaka is out there languishing alone in the wilderness with no one to look after him.
They not only demanded for the Kabaka but also uttered several insults towards the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga who they believe is in the plot to hurt their King. Shockingly they believe that the Kabaka is under siege and there is a plot to harm him.
It should be noted that the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II a few weeks ago was spotted in Namibia. It was reported that he was being hospitalized at Okonguarri Psychotherapeutic Centre from an undisclosed illness. Word however later came out that he was going to be moved to another facility for his well-being and away from the camera eye.
However, some subjects who believe that they are entitled to the Kabaka’s welfare have decided to make their voices heard. And they want to see him regardless of the condition he is in a thing contrary to the kingdom’s norms.
The situation has been intensified by several bloggers and personalities apparently from Bobi Wine’s led NUP party. People like blogger Fred Lumbuye Kajubi, King Saha among others have taken it upon themselves to incite the people to demand for the Kingdom’s traditional ruler.

Meanwhile Mengo has remained tightlipped about the Kabaka’s situation and ignored all the noise, The Katikiro a while ago revealed to the Lukiiko how the Kabaka was indeed sick and in Namibia for specialized treatment.
