Singer and president of artistes under UMA (Uganda Musicians Association) Cindy Sanyu is in trouble. She has been dragged to court alongside her business partner Gabriel Ramathan for allegedly inciting violence.
It is reported that in December 2023, the two were out at night when a fight occurred between Kevin Nyembo and Dr. Luggya Tonny. Mr. Nyembo and his colleagues allegedly fled with money that belonged to Luggya.
The singer was also implicated in the incident, with reports suggesting that she and her business partner allegedly encouraged the assault. According to Cindy, she doesn’t know anything about the incident and she wasn’t even near where the fight took place.
She said that there are many violent people but it doesn’t make sense when others are involved when they had nothing to do about it.

“I am being accused of fueling a bar bawl but I didn’t do anything, I am very innocent I can’t even lie that I know where exactly the fight took place. I wasn’t near the place and I had nothing to do about it at all,” It should be noted that Cindy Sanyu is now a mother and wife. She said she puts most of her time into that and then business comes after her family and children.
